Stellar Cyber, a leading provider of AI-driven cybersecurity operations platforms, has announced a strategic partnership with NetFoundry, a leader in zero-trust networking, to integrate their technologies and deliver identity-based networking and security for IT, OT, IoT and AI workloads. The companies explained that traditional security often relies on IP addresses for visibility and control, but as networks become distributed and AI workloads span cloud and edge environments, identity-based controls are needed to reduce risk and improve compliance.
The joint solution combines Stellar Cyber’s Open XDR platform and its artificial intelligence/machine learning detection capabilities with NetFoundry’s zero-trust networking overlay. By unifying SecOps and networking, the partnership provides universal identities for users, devices, applications, data and traffic flows; these identities enable granular segmentation and automated policy enforcement across disparate environments. The integration also simplifies operations: unified telemetry, unified reporting and a single policy engine reduce complexity and help security teams detect, correlate and respond to threats more quickly.
According to Andrew Homer, vice president of strategic alliances at Stellar Cyber, the collaboration brings together two complementary technologies to “deliver identity-based, zero-trust networking that works for any IT, OT, IoT or AI use case,” helping organizations extend security beyond the IP address and prepare for AI-driven operations. Galeal Zino, CEO of NetFoundry, said the integrated solution builds an “AI-ready network,” providing both connectivity and security without complexity. The partnership is now available to customers, offering a pathway to secure, zero-trust networking with AI-powered detection and response.
Founded in 2015, Stellar Cyber provides an Open XDR platform that aggregates data from across the security stack and applies AI to deliver contextualized detections and automated responses. NetFoundry, a spin-out of Tata Communications, delivers zero-trust application networking that provides secure connectivity without VPNs or private circuits. Together, their partnership signals the convergence of networking and security around zero-trust principles and AI-driven operations.
